Building your relationship with your child..
The time you spend chatting to your baby will pay dividends in the future; if you talk to them, they're going to want to listen and talk to you. You are setting the foundations for the relationship you will share with your child into the future. Be aware of how you may be excluding your child when you use your phone or earphones when you are with them. Babies like being out and about but they like coming home too.
Put a reminder in your phone to schedule a review with your partner when your baby is about 6 weeks old. How have you been doing? How is it all going now? It is good idea to schedule a review every couple of months. Take time to reflect on the journey.
